AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FINES FOR VIOLATION OF MUNICIPAL AND/OR STATE CODE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF CANISTOTA, SOUTHDAKOTA:

This Ordinance in establishing a schedule of fines for violation of municipal and/or state codes is hereby read, approved, and adopted as follows:

Conflicting Ordinances Repealed. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Separability. Should any part of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder shall not be affected thereby.

Publication and Effect. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption and publication according to SDCL.

Second Reading and Adoption: January 7, 2002

Publication Date: January 10, 2002

Effective Date: January 30, 2002 (20 days after publication)
