You may register at any of the following locations:
- McCook County Auditor's Office, 130 West Essex St, Salem, SD 57058
- On Line at the Secretary of State's Web Site at www.sdsos.gov
- Voter Registration forms are available at Canistota City Hall, 228 Main St, Canistota, SD 57012 which will be sent to the McCook County Auditor's Office

How do I vote absentee?
Absentee ballot applications are available at the Finance Office located at Canistota City Hall, 228 Main St, Canistota, SD 57012.

Where do I vote?
Primary elections are held at the Legion Hall.
School elections are held at the school.
Municipal elections are held at City Hall.
Some elections may be combined so voters will be notified prior to the election of the location.
